Description:
This was taken aboard the USNS Kanawha in the spring of 2007 (I am pretty sure it was late May or early June of 2007) passing outbound through the Strait of Hormuz. The ship's whistle had been blown in series twice adn they kept coming. Flares were fired as additional warning. They stood off after the flares.
