And it was Jimmy Stewart in "Rear Window" not Gregory Pecker.

The YouTube compression on this vid is awful. I Uploaded in H264 and it was MUCH better than this - this is all pixellated and the pans are jerky. It's not like that in the original. Pity.

That looked really good. I don't know if you've ever watched a show called The West Wing, but there's a lot of long hallway steadycam shots and this device held up pretty well compared to their professional TV grade shots.

Not bad at all...your steadicam held up well. Nice quaint Parisian neighborhood with the black iron railing balconies...beautiful, just like the old French quarter in new orleans.

Ever heard the expression "You get what you pay for!"? It's better than not having anything but I wouldn't call it a "Steadicam".

It's on par with your "Steadicam Jnr" shots asshole. Why don't you share the knowledge instead of coming on here with your smartmouth American comments?

And another thing Mister Smartass...your Steadicam Jnt cost at least $430 - this little number can be knocked up for less than $20. And just like your Jnr it requires a bit of practice. The trick is to find the balance point, hold it there and "guide" it rather than "hold" it.
