Description: The trailer of the upcoming Hollywood buzz, "American Gangster", directed by the three-time Academy Award Nominee Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Thelma & Louise), with Oscar winners Denzel Washington (Training Day), Russell Crowe (Gladiator) and Cuba Gooding Jr. (Jerry Maguire). Produced by Steven Zaillian (Schindler's List, Gangs of New York) and Academy Award Winner Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind). The plot is based on the life of druglord Frank Lucas, who grew up in North Carolina. He eventually made his way to Harlem where he became a heroin kingpin by traveling to Asia's Golden Triangle to make connections, shipping heroin back to the US in the coffins of soldiers killed in Vietnam. Lucas soon made upwards of one million dollars a day in drug sales. He was shadowed by lawman Richie Roberts, who finally helped bring Frank Lucas to justice. Coming out in November.
