coolinmonstizzle I am thoroughly disgusted with our Congress, slamming that ad, especially when it has merit and they know it! They have only encouraged supporters of Move-on to donate more money for more ads! Go Move-on!! I see the North American Union coming on faster and faster, and than you will see all of our rights gone forever!

I absolutely agree with you. I supported that ad, and stand by it 100%. Calling someone, anyone on questionable behavior is our right, and our responsibility, no matter who they are. The GAO, NE, Jones Report all say something different than Petraeus. For Bush to use this man for his politics is disgusting to say the least!

I think moveon did a great job of ousting general petreus. Everyone knows that mr bush fires who does'nt support him so the only way to keep his job is to listen to the regime. Admiral Conolly petreus' boss has a totally different assesment so that comes to show that Gen. Petreus was stretching the truth at best. We need to support our troops and bring them home. Freedom of speech remember that it's in the constitution. Wren A. Chambers

Let's stop using professional military personnel for political purposes. Bush needs to stand on his own past record of lies and BS.

Let me see . . . . If I understand this position correctly, just because a man is a) in uniform, and b) a general, that automatically makes him honest and truthful, not subject to any political motivations or considerations, and therefore beyond reproach or criticism? Yeah, riiiiight. But to authoritarian, sub-normal IQ right wingers, I'm sure it makes all the sense in the world.

-Petraeus 220 BC Sent by king of Macedonia, to Lacedaemonians to confirm submission and allegiance to Macedonia. He later commanded a force in Thessaly against the Aetolian invaders. -Petraeus 2007 AD Sent by prez of US, to Iraq to confirm submission and allegiance to US. He later commanded a force in Iran against the Al Queda invaders. This history has already been written.

she called moveon's opinion "outrageous and deplorable". she also is requesting her peer's to denounce them just because she doesn't approve of them. how is that not a 1st amendment issue?

Yeah, heaven forbid anyone criticize someone because that automatically means a violation of the 1st Amendment. C'mon, that's like a 5th grade comment; grow up.
