Its true what cschruppnmu says so many wrestlers out there dont ever win a tournament or even medal at state... its not easy by any stretch of the imagination, but i do understand what you're saying maintaining 1st place is very difficult...

Yeah, well Joe Warren is arguably in the worst weight class in the United States, and also wrestles greco. Not taking away anything from Warren, because he's the world champ, but he has no competition in the U.S., unlike Simmons, who is going to have to deal with Cejudo forever.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Do you know how many wrestlers go through their careers without winning a tournament, let alone a state championship? Easiest ting to do? You're an idiot.

My little brother wrestles in AZ .I cant remember which Cejudo it was but I remember one of them winning the state title by dropping his opponent right on his head with a crotch lift. I think the kid broke his collar bone.

Henry is a friend of mine from maryvale school. We both when to maryvale and that kid is awesome. But remember, the easiest thing to do in a sport is to win 1st place. But the hardest thing of all is to maintain that spot.

He won two state titles in Arizona and two in Colorado then skipped college and kept training at the freestyle program in Colorado Springs where he has been training since the age of 17.

I think Simmons wrestled better in the first and second periods and deserved to win. But Cejudo is still really good. Both are deserving of spots on the U.S. National Team, but there can only be one.

I really think Simmons got some terible reffing in his semi-final match against Coleman Scott. I'm not saying he woulod of beet Valenti but he should of been the one wrestling hime in the finals. It's funny how you say he never one a NCAA title like every member of the US team has except Nick. What a bout Joe Warren he's world chapion and finshed 3rd in his best season in college. He's the man now and he's 30. Nick still has a long career ahead of him.

I think Cejudo is the better wrestler at the moment, but I'm sure Simmons will be the better wrestler in time, and he might be our 121 represenative at Beijing 2008.
