Frank Zappa wrote Beefheart's music? Prove it.

From where do you get your "facts"? Give us some sources. More spelling corrections: The plural of company is companies not companys. Can't is spelled with an apostrophe between the N and the T. And how can you claim any authority on Beefheart when you can't even spell his name? His last name is Van Vliet NOT Vlient. Now quit calling everyone a moron and simply tell us where you get your information from.

I remember the first time I heard Beefheart like it was yesterday. Someone lent me Clear Spot, my reaction was identical to that of first hearing the Stooges, Funhouse. I was speechless and stirred, fully aware that this was the real deal. You can't fully anticipate that kind of sinister genius, it's the awe-inspiring accumulation of forces beyond our control.

Doc at the Radar Station. Both tracks. A very underrated Beefheart album!

I've already replied to your message once but it doesn't seem to want to show. Both tracks are from Beefhearts penultimate album called "Doc at the Radar Station". A great but very underrated Beefheart album!

I think Don looks great at this part of his career. He has had 4 images really. His original image as seen on Safe as milk then his crazy Trout Mask look, then the weighty and Somewhat normal Spotlight Kid which ran until the image we see here which I think really suits him. Unfortunately this was the beginning of his illness. God, I will be devastated when he goes.

This wasn't The Tragic Band mate. The TB were Fuzzy Fuscaldo,Ty Grimes,Dean Smith,Michael 'Bucky' Smotherman,Del Simmons,Paul Uhrig.Basically a sessions band. That was mid 70's and played on Unconditionally Guaranteed and Bluejeans&Moonbeams. This band we see here are highly respected!

Tubemeokay. That's rubbish! Bunker has discussed the Zappa part but I would like to point something out that is completely obvious to anyone with intelligence. Don was playing a character on Letterman. He wasn't off his head on drugs and his character wasn't supposed to look that way.
