Description:

How to roll a cigarette without a filter or roach. The principle is the same as before. You want to either lay the tobacco across length of the paper evenly, if you want a straight ciggy, or with less at one end and more at the other if you want a conical ciggy. You roll as before, using your weaker hand to roll the end you're gonna smoke and your stronger hand to shape the rest of the ciggy. refer to the previous videos ive posted for a more detailed description.

Drum is an originally Dutch tobacco that is very popular in Europe. The version i used in this video is Drum Halfzware Shag, (halfzware meaning "half dark"), also known as Drum Blue/Drum Dark/Drum Strong. There's also a blonde version which is a bit milder tasting and comes in a yellow pack (as seen in my original Rolling A Cigarette tutorial), and in Europe (except the UK) they have a light drum in sky blue packs.

You CAN get drum in the USA if thats where you're from, but its actually produced by a different company and is a much less old company. The only time i've tried American Drum is when i was in amsterdam from some tourist. It's ok stuff, but not as nice as the EU version. I'd recomend just trying out various brands until you find one you like.

yep...thats about it. I just thought that there would be people out there who'd like to see how its done.... plus, once you've got the technique down, the basics at least transfer over to rolling other kinds of substances even if the actual shaping is different

hehe, yeah. Personally I always use a filter or at least a roach paper in my cigarettes if i can, and if I were rolling something of a...greener variety...I'd always use a roach paper. But I have seen Americans smoke joints in Amsterdam without a roach, but I prefer not getting any tobacco/green in my mouth (plus it saves you about a tokes worth using a roach paper, no need to use "roach clips" or whatever.)

the disadvantage to rolling somthing from the greener side without a roach is that you get tobaco in your mouth and it has a very bad aftertaste. But the advantage is that you feel way more st...d have you ever tried doing a bucket

Yup, they will no doubt suck for a bit, but you'll get the hang of it soon enough. You may actually find it easier to use a roach or filter because it gives you something to tuck the paper into.

I can roll down the tobacco easy enough, but I still cant roll it up so it is an actual cigarette. I crease the paper on top of the tobacco after it is rolled down and try and tuck it under as I go up but it never works. You did it so fast I couldnt even tell what you do.

ok, at about 1m15s in the video, I start rolling up the ciggy. The trick here is to roll down so that a little tobacco is showwing, then quite firmly grip and roll upwards. There's really nothing else to it, you just have to grip firmly and roll smoothly. Imagine you're sliding the tips of your index fingers from the tips to the base of your thumbs.
