It helps keep voter turn out low so they can control it better. If they changed it to Saturday they would get better response I think. Better yet, Set it up for a couple days. Either we vote on Saturdays (most working class /middle class people WILL vote) or the voting day should be a national holiday! Yeah your employers say they give you time off, but what a few hours?!
