It doesnt matter roe vs wade being federal decision or not or the federal gov having a say in it. Its a protection for the freedom. The aim for him is to no longer make abortion legal hence there would be some form of pregnancy enforcement, whether state or federal. That is unacceptable in a free country, plus would return the terrible events that led to the protection of the freedom of choice. period

And it is the FEDERAL government that is screwing you over. Let the states decide more things for you because your own voice, and your vote mean more at the state and local level.

hyperqube714, Your right. People need to prepare themselves for Bush's next 911 where he will blame it on Iran, institute a draft, invade Iran, declare martial law and suspend the constitution. Goodbye America home of the free. It wouldn't mean a thing if Bush had note won the election. Same game, different face.

Ironic that Truman was the last prez whose VP didn't run 4 the oval office himself. As 4 Dickneck Chenney, even Nixon would have a better chance than he would.

I wish I was misinformed but not so. He wants to, in his words, strike down roe vs wade, with the intention of making abortions illegal. Which is in line with his vocal pro-born, improperly called pro-life stance. If freedom of choice is removed and abortions illegal, then it becomes the state enforcing pregnancy.

You managed to get yourself very misinformed! Ron Paul does not want the 'state to enforce pregnancy'... he wants the states to vote and decide what they want themselves. Think about it, its a democracy right? Majority rules? Plus, hes 100% against 'forceful' intervention when it comes to womens rights on abortion. He would never support a state enforcement of pregnancy.

Impeachment is way overdue. The crimes are numerous, violations of domestic and international law, manufacturing a war, spying on Americans, and on and on. The neo-cons are little more than a version of stalinists for corporate rule. Unlike what some here advocate, Ron Paul is NOT a legitimate alternative. He has many good ideas but slips into right-wing control issues with regard to abortion. He would have the state enforce pregnancy, unacceptable.
