krickrack ::: Favorites It depends to whom you're talking to... the "Modern humans" is 40 000 years old but humans were nomads and there was no civilisation. The first civilization started around 4000 BC. It's all depends on what "human history" means to you. If "Human History" is about human civilization then yes Human history started around 5000 BC. But if you think "Human History" starts when the Modern humans appeared then Human history is much more old than 40 000 years.
