well unless you find a way to live about 5 billion years if you do ill bet that you'll be quite mad way before sun turns into red giant.

I get the impression I'll be dead by then. And considering there's the tiniest bit of heat increase I'm guessing, so will everyone else. Either that or we'll all evolve into lava people with pumice brains. That would be keen

Read Darwin, or a more updated author and you'll see that human desendants (80% brain size compared to modern, bipedal) were using wooden spears carefully crafted over 400,000 years ago, and evolution of the homo gebus is traced well over 2 million years through fossils and stone artifacts

Most galaxies have a blackhole in the center of them, this video is showing what will happen when our galaxy collides with another, what do you think would happen with the intense gravitational pull that is created by the two black holes merging?

:P It's not like it would happen in 2010 ;). I would be more afraid about human stupidity than galaxies colliding... there's a high probability that Human will not be there anymore for the big show ;)

It depends to whom you're talking to... the "Modern humans" is 40 000 years old but humans were nomads and there was no civilisation. The first civilization started around 4000 BC. It's all depends on what "human history" means to you. If "Human History" is about human civilization then yes Human history started around 5000 BC. But if you think "Human History" starts when the Modern humans appeared then Human history is much more old than 40 000 years. That's my opinion...Sorry for my english..

Do a little research. Humans were around a long time before 5,000 BC.

god had nothing to do with the universe and it being created. god came into play when people were created. The funny thing about this is that according to the bible people (not ape monkey's) were created about 7 thousand years ago. Now whats funny about this is that 5 thousand BC is when human history began Read Steven Hawking's book A Brief History of Time to better understand all this
