Socialized medical in the U.S=bad. What ever happened to working hard to get good things. We are getting very close to being communist. Why would we want the U.S government to run anything? They fuck up everything they touch.

Michael Moore is a pure genius. I know a lot of people are startled by his "truths" but that's the truth of this Nation. I love my country for what it stands for, but how we as Americans choose to practice that, is our own horrible interpretations.

Because it's good when you're rich, and the people that actually WORK like your delivery drivers, tailors, garbage men etc. can't afford it when they get sick or injured. So what happens to your average person? THEY SUFFER. A little communism is good for everyone. While the health care isn't the greatest up here in CA, I can tell you something, I don't have to worry about DYING because I can't pay.

Ah, you sound like one of these paid people trying to make the whole issue a wash so people feel helpless. Bottom line is when people (lots of em) are getting upset and people are suffering, chances are regardless of whatever statistics are available(typically biased for those paying for the collection of that data) there is something wrong. Wake up and realize there is problem. Open your damn mind. Maybe you're just rich and don't to pay anything for your fellow countrymen's well being.

...or being economically beaten to death for 20 years because I had to take out a $100,000 loan because I needed an operation. Where there is money to be made, those who stand to gain will do anything to protect their returns. THAT is why you should be afraid of this type of a system. The only thing that matters to them is MONEY. Not you.

Maybe my mind is open enough to realize this isn't even a problem fully caused by America's central government. Blame the people of the United States who like to sue the shit out of the medical community for every little mistake that is made, or even try to sue when there are no mistakes. Medical insurance is very expensive, which means that doctors have to charge their patients more to be able to have this insurance. It's a full cycle.

Maybe if there was less malpractice and more regulations over doctors in the US you wouldn't have that problem. Perhaps the US needs to let it's judicial system weed out the valid cases from the not valid(?) Health Care is something that every country should have, for every person, it's your 'right' to be healthy in the country you pay your taxes to.

I'm an EMT, and i know of the stupid reasons why people try to sue healthcare workers. When CPR is done, the cartilage between the sternum and ribs is torn so the sternum can move freely and pump the heart. After a woman was resuscitated by an EMT, she tried to sue him for "breaking her ribs" even though this was completely expected and normal. Don't shift blame, it's everyone's fault.
