So what happens to your average person? THEY SUFFER. A little communism is good for everyone. Blame the people of the United States who like to sue the shit out of the medical community for every little mistake that is made, or even try to sue when there are no mistakes. Medical insurance is very expensive, which means that doctors have to charge their patients more to be able to have this insurance. When CPR is done, the cartilage between the sternum and ribs is torn so the sternum can move freely and pump the heart. After a woman was resuscitated by an EMT, she tried to sue him for "breaking her ribs" even though this was completely expected and normal.
